This year, a total of 1,27,198 pilgrims – 7,198 under government management and 1,20,000 under private management – will perform Hajj from Bangladesh, said Principal Motiur Rahman while speaking at a press briefing over the Hajj management situation.

The registration process for those who go to hajj this year will be started, till March 11. On July 14, the first Hajj flight from Bangladesh will leave for Saudi Arabia.
Religious Affairs Minister Matiur Rahman inaugurated the program by distributing Hajj registration papers to a doctor named Jahan Kabir of Shah Jawah at a press conference on Thursday.

Religious secretary Anisur Rahman has said that the date for starting the Hajj flight on July 14 will be closely monitored so that the flight does not crash. Now the third career is not being considered.

Hajj pilgrims have to pre-register with depositing 28 thousand taka. Now the package that is going to be hajj, the package has to be registered with the rest of the money.

The Religious Affairs Minister said there are two packages– Taka 3,97,929 for package one and Taka 3,31,359 for package two– for the hajj travelers under the government management and the flight fair has been fixed Taka 1,38,191 under these two packages.

Those who have made Hajj in 2015, 2016 and 017, or have not even visited Hajj, those who hajj this time will have to pay the extra 46 thousand 935 in the account. If you want to go to Hajj on a separate flight, you must register separately.

In order to participate in the Hajj program, 774 Hajj agencies have been approved, said Anisur. In addition to rewarding those who do well, incentives and certificates will be given.

The minister said, during the Hajj, the securities were confiscated by canceling the license of 64 Hajj agencies for irregularities. 17 licenses have been suspended and 49 agencies have been penalized as well as penalties.
Out of the 12 agencies were warned and 51 have been exonerated, the minister said.
